MindfulWork – Terms of Service

By using MindfulWork you agree to these terms. Key points: use the app responsibly, subscriptions auto-renew via Apple, and your data is stored on your device and optionally synced via your own iCloud account.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using MindfulWork ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

MindfulWork is a productivity and digital wellness app that helps users manage focus sessions and reduce time spent on distracting apps. The app offers both a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with full access. The app offers optional iCloud sync for focus statistics and achievements, which you can enable in Settings.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

MindfulWork Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, processed through Apple's App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Free trials (if offered) convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
To manage or cancel, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or use "Manage Subscription" in the app.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. When you request a refund, we may share data about your use and consumption of purchased content with Apple so that Apple can make an informed decision. By using the app and making in-app purchases, you consent to this sharing. Such sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process refund requests.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use MindfulWork only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features.
Use the app to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. iOS Shortcuts Integration

The app intervention feature relies on Apple's Shortcuts app and iOS automation. Its effectiveness depends on how you configure Shortcuts and may vary across iOS versions. We do not guarantee that the intervention system will block all access to monitored apps in all circumstances.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

MindfulWork is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or achieve any specific productivity outcome. Use of the app is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
